Owwww, so long long time i'm not update this blog -_- (because i'm working in office now )
So that, i want to write about how I made my Astharoshe Asran costume
Here We Go.......................................!!!!
First, before i tell you the process of the costume, i want to tell a little about Ms.Astahroshe Asran
Astharoshe Asran is a female character in Trinity Blood. She is a vampire (called "Methuselah" in this story) that has a loyalty and trust to the Mother of Empire or Augusta Vradica (Seth Nightroad). Her alias is "Dichess of Kiev " or "Viscountess of Odessa". In the novel said (i never read the novel -_- because there is not sell in Indonesia -_-) she has a cat as a pet, but in manga she has a tiger as a pet called "Venus".
Her appearance is a tall woman, elegant, has a long silvered white hair with a little red hair on the bangs, has a yellow eyes, (i think) a little manly ^^, kind , loyal, and also hot blooded (especially in manga version, you can see how grumpy she is, hehe, poor Abel ^^) . She has a spear as a weapon called "Sword of Gae Bolg" (i know the name of her weapon in WIKIPEDIA ) that can shoot a lightning in anime or plasma in novel.

arghhhhhhhhhhhhh, LOOK! at her costume, the colour is blue ( and i am really like blue :3) , with her big elegant hat , and also the really detailed armor , owwww, you steal my heart Astha-sannnn >_<
actually Astharoshe is my first favourite character when i first look Trinity Blood, hehe ( at that time i don't know her name hehe, but she is really cool i think ^^)
Okay......now......... i will tell astory behind the costume of Astharoshe Asran

First is hunting the material. I searching about fabric material in Pasar Baru with my mom. I'm looking for material that has elegant look but not too soft, so the sales on the shop suggested me to use Tafetta Bridal. When i see the fabric, i think..wew..it's suitable with the costume, but.....there is some problem....they didn't have a colour like i show to them...Oww comm'onnn, i'm really like this one and you didn't have the colour...-_- but...........when the sales search again, she found..............the right colour, hehe ^^ and my mother bid the price of the fabric because we take 2 metres, hehe.
Here the fabric
For the armour , i use creative foam/polyfoam that we call it "Busa Hati". Every cosplayer in Indonesia (maybe) know about it.
For the detail i use many things like artificial jewel, ribbon, hot glue, buttons, beads, etc.
I made the base costume (the mini dress of Astha at Tailor, becausei can sewing with Machine -_- and also can't make a pattern for cloth).
For the wig i bought it in Online Sop, but i won't tell where, because i don't know why , why my wig is really.....not good like the others get who also order in that olshop ( because i ever help my friend's wig that she bought in that olshop, and i'm really like it, but.....why mine is really not good??)
okay, forget it -_- ....
my mom help me to cut and styling the wig , and also repair it -_- and i use acrylic pait to colour the hair .
The blue one is wig for Ayanami (07-ghost) i bought it from Taobao (Ghostcos)
Look...that's wig cap was able to see.....-_-
okay......now....forget the wig-_-
for the shoes , i order it at Loliglam (Online shop )
I'm really forget...why i din't make the heels become 10 cm -_- i'm just order it for 7 cm
but... i'm satisfied with the result ^^
and....for the weapon, because i can't get a detail picture of the weapon, so i made it by look some cosplayer who also cosplay as Astharoshe Asran.
i made it by pvc and polyfoam
and.......after struggling with my costume and also repairing some detail (after Ennichisai 2014)
Tada.............
My Astharoshe Asran was finish (but...... less many detail -_-)

Honestly, i'm not really satisfied with the result, because my skill is not high so i can't made it so detailed like the others -_-
I have a plan to repair and upgrade my costume .....GANBATTE! for me, hehehehe
