LET'S DEBATE (NUDC 2016)

It’s been long time I didn’t post anything in here (don’t have enough time to post something -__-, and blame my modem that can’t work well when I use it in my house , always get bad signal)

Alright, before I start, now I finally get place to do my internship program ^o^ (yeyyyyy) and I can have a time to write something for my blog.

Last year, I accidentally joined Debate competition because my English Lecturer said if My English is good ( but actually I am not fluent in English. I can speak and listen, but not really good at that time, especially my grammar.

That was not my first time join English debate competition, because I have joined this kind of competition when I was in Senior High School. But…………..there was something that made it different. It was the system. National University Debate Championship used British Parliamentary system, so that, there are 4 teams that will debate one motion in one room. It was so different with the system that I ever joined before ( it is 1 team (3 persons) vs 1 team (3 persons).

Before join the National level, the representative team that came from many Universities, Institute, Polythecnic, etc must  pass the regional level.

Because our Campus was located in Jakarta, we join the qualification in KOPERTIS Wilayah 3 (Jakarta, Bogor, Banten, Depok). There were more than 40 Universities that Join the competition. The Kopertis 3 can send 11 teams from its region to the National. And luckily, my team was the 11^th team :D so lucky right.

NUDC was separated into 4 rounds for the Novice category:

1^st round (that consist of 7 rounds) is “ Preliminary Round”. You will debate 7 different motions with different enemies. After finish one round, you will get VP (Victory point) based on your rank that you get (1^st rank=3 vp. 2^nd rank= 2 vp.  3^rd rank= 1 vp. 4^th rank= no vp/0). You must collect it by take the highest rank in every round. This point will be accumulated, and also your team point will be accumulated that will make you qualified to pass the Next round or not.

2^nd round is “Quarter Final Round”.

3^rd round is “Semifinal Round”.

4^th round is “Final Round”.

For the Open Category, it consisted of 5 rounds:

1^st round is “Preliminary” ( same as novice category)

2^nd round is “Octofinals Round”

3^rd is “Quarter Finals Round”

4^th is “Semifinal Round”

5^th is “ Final Round”

The National Level was held at Universitas Mercu Buana (Meruya), actually I was disappoint , because I hope NUDC 2016 would be held at other city outside Jakarta, so that I can travel to other city, but………  :’) yeah, this big event was held in Meruya. That’s okay.

NUDC 2016 was held from 31 July 2016 untill 5 August 2016.

Our campus just have short time to practice because our schedule is not flexible, we must do the Semester Exam, and also face the Lebaran. So that, we face many difficulties on the competition -__-.

Day 1

On the Day 1, we went to the Mercu Buana from Campus by Grab Car.

When we arrived at there, the committee greeted us and told us to keep our luggage at one of their classroom. We get a coupon to take it back to hotel after the opening ceremony. After that, we go upstairs to the hall and registered.

We got a goodie bag with one lunch coupon for one person.

Here, what I got (one t shirt of NUDC, 1 batik shirt for last day, Guide Book for NUDC, Ballpoint, note book, and also our name tag that we must to use whole event.

The schedule for the day 1 is only Opening Ceremony, Workshop for adjusicator, and also demonstration of “Veteran” Debater. Their Debate was really great, they had good logic, so persuasive and also can make the audience understand about what their purpose of that motion.

After the agenda of Day 1 was finish, we went to hotel by bus. Before it, we also got our dinner (nasi kotak) and also took back our luggage.

Unfortunately, I was the only woman in my team, and because of that I must to share my room with other representative. But…………………She didn’t come to my room and it means I must to sleep alone for next days until the event finish :’). I hate her attitude so much , because I already gave my number to her and I also get her number so that we can contact each other, but until 10 o’clock , she didn’t come to my room and no reply my message. Because I want to lock my room and go to sleep. I was afraid if I already locked the room, she came.

 After didn’t get any response from her, I went out from my room and went around the hotel. Accidentaly I met some nice persons.

We talked and share our story each other until I felt sleepy.

I went back to my room and I tried to sleep, but not success :’)

Day 2

On the day 2, we went back to Mercu Buana by bus, but before it, we can take breakfast that already perepared by the Hotel. I eat a lot XD.

The competition started at 2^nd day. We must to debate for 3 rounds. Actually it was hard time for us, because we met many strong competitors. I will list the motion that appeared in this competition.

On the day 2, our team got more problem. We can’t connect our mind each other, and it make we can’t cooperate well like in Kopertis 3 qualification. I also felt so sleepy because I couldn’t sleep well.

Day 2 agenda was finish and our VP was only 3 ( the last round on this day, we got 4^th rank ).

I really disappointed with my self ad my teammate, but we promise if we will do better for tomorrow.

Day 3

Day 3 agenda was same as day 2, but the last round result (round 6) was not announced by the adjudicators. (it made me so curious) because I know our performance for today was better than before.

I woke up so early, and because of that I went to the breakfast room around 5 am, and it was really quiet. May be I was the 1^st person at breakfast room, (haha).

I took some food and try the other dish.

 My teammate came with our lecturer. We eat together, but they left earlier because they must to change their cloth (they ate with their sleeping cloth).

When I continued eat some “snack” ( yeah I took some cereal and cakes after eat some potato and egg, hehe), some of the representatives from Yogya came, and we sat together. We shared our experience, and I realized if I was novice among the expert XD AAHHAHAHA

After breakfast, we went to Mercu Buana to do the last round of the preliminary round. We fought and gave the best for this round.

And , finally The Committee announce the result. Actually, this competition was divided into 2 categories. Main Category ( for debater who has experience in Big competition of debate) and Novice category (for debater who has no experience in big competition like this ). My team was in Novice Category.

I was really curious about the result, because I think my team will get good score in last 2 preliminary rounds.

AND……….THE RESULT IS…………

We failed to compete to the next round :’) so sad……………… because we had a target if we must to break to the quarter finals of Novice category, but we failed. It’s okay, because we think the teams that brought to the next round from both category were deserve to get it.

After the announcement, the next round was start for Quarter final novice category and Octofinal Main category. I decided to sleep for a while when my friend went out to watch the octofinals of main category.

After that round, my friends came back and the adjudicators announced the result. We continued to the next round, there were “Quarter finals” for main category and “Semi finals” for Novice category. I decided to watch it this time. Because the rooms with UI,UGM,BINUS,UNPAR and IPB room was really crowded, I decided to watch Brawijaya performance with my friends from Yogya. Brawijaya’s team was really good, they could bring debate without show emotional gesture, really calm but really persuasive.

After the announcement of the last round for today, we went back to the hotel.

On  this day, I slept at other team’s room, because they invited me . They were from UHAMKA. I got spooky experience at their room :’D. Before it happened to us, actually Agung dkk, already told me if their room was spooky, but I thought so positive, and yeah I accepted their invitation to sleep together

Day 5.

On this day, some of the teams didn’t attend this event, because they went around Jakarta ( some of them said if that time was their first time in Jakarta). In this day, we must to wear Batik shirt that we got from the goodie bag. Luckily the size was suit me well.

We went to the Mercu Buana by bus together again (I was so sad because this was the last day we went together like this :’)   ) . Before we walked to the Hall, we took photo together with the committee and also were recorded by the drone XD

The first round for today was start. I watched it with my friends together. But actually, we spend the last day with took many selfie, wefie, and also recorded the debate (and also played pokemon GO).

The Final Round of the Novice Category was start.  Even they were novice they were really good when debating, but lack of diction (in my opinion).

Let’s skip to the Final Round of Main Category. Because the gap between the previous round to the last round took long time ( I don’t know what I want to do , haha XD). The Final Round of the Main Category was held in other hall. It was looked like a mini theater I think, hehe. We were waiting for few times for the final round, therefore we took many selfie and wefie again, haha. We also watched the short movie and ate some snacks.

Finally………….

The Final Round of the main category was started.

It was battle between :   UI, UGM, Brawijaya, Binus.

As I expected, the debate became so powerfull. The audiences also enjoyed with their performance (we reacted with their analogy, diction, and also some sarcasm).

After an amazing debate. We were waiting again for the closing ceremony and the result of the competition. We also enjoyed our dinner.

After the dinner, we went back to the hall to attend the closing ceremony. We were really curious and excited who will be the winner. We also share our opinion about who will win and who will become best speaker.

And………. Finally, the announcement of  the best speakers for both category had been announced.

Next…..the announcement of the winner for both category, actually I forgot who was the winner of the novice category. But for the main category, we Have :

1^st rank = UI

2^ND rank= UGM

3^RD rank = BINUS

4^TH rank= Brawijaya

After the closing ceremony , we went back to the hotel. This night, I slept again in my friends from UHAMKA room, together with other debaters from UNTIRTA (7 persons in one room) XD . We share 1 bed for 5 girls, and 2 sofas for 2 boys, haha. It was really fun, and after we filled that room with many people, that room became not spooky anymore.

Day 6 : Last day

Actually the last day was the day to check out from hotel. I feel so sad, andhopefully I could join this competition next year.

Yeahhhh, finally I can share one of the best moment of my life in this blog. Hopefully I can join this kind of competition next time.

JAJAN ENAK @PICNIC OVER TRIBECA

Jajan yuk jajann................................

Karena kebetulan ada event yang bertepatan dengan hari di amna saya *akhirnyadapetgaji (hehe)
so...saya ajak Mama saya (pada awalnya) untuk datang ke event local yang diadakan di CentralPark Mall ini sebagai "PENGUNJUNG" (karena waktu tahun lalu saya datang dari hari pertama hingga akhir sebagai spg salah satu tenant, hehe) so...kali ini saya berniat untuk JAJAN makanan yang dijual di booth booth di event tersebut.

Sebelum saya mulai, apa sih Picnic Over Tribeca itu?
Picnic Over Tribeca adalah event yang diselenggarakan oleh LocalTasteId yang (menurut saya) bertema picnic , secara di Central Park ada Tribeca yang tempatnyaenak buat ngelonjor *PLAKK , buat santai santai di outdoor dikelilingi pohon pohon n tumbuhan layaknya di taman gitu, hehe
and event ini pastinya  "FREE ENTRANCE" so.......saya makin semangat, hehe :3
acara ini diadakan dari tanggal 30 April 2015-3Mei 2015 n saya datang pada tanggal 2 Mei alias malming, hehehe

okeyyy, karena saya tidak terlalu banyak foto , kita lihat ajah yah suasana n jajanan yang saya coba :3

1. Nasi Pedas (idr 30,000)
begitu sampai lokasi acara, mama saya yang kebetulan sudah lapar langsung menarik saya menuju ke salah satu stand yang menjual sambel homemade (kalau menurut saya sih yah ...kaya sambel buatan mama saya )

bisa dilihat apa ajah isinya........isinya terdiri dari nasi (kaya nasi uduk tapi yah), sayuran, udang (udangnya banyak loh :3), keripik kentang, kacang ,telur, kriuk kriuk (gak tau apaan) , n 3 macam sambel dari sambel yang mereka jual perbotolnya ( gw akuin enak sihh, tapi kata nyokap terlalu berminyak)

2.Mom's milk reguler Green tea flavour   (idr 22,000)
Karena panasnya minta ampun dan penug sesak sama pengunjung, akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk beli minum di Mom's Milk ( karena waktu event sebelumnya saya gak keburu nyobain ini, hehe). Rasa yang saya coba adalah yang green tea and ukuran reguler

and ..itu penampakannya , dan abgaimana dengan rasanya????? jauh dengan yang pernah saya coba waktu event sebelumnya (saya sempet coba teman saya punya dan rasanya enak, berasa susunya dan rasanya juga) tapi yang ini...........tawar, terlalu banyak es nya n ..gak berasa manis ato rasa gree tea -_-

3. Jennabel's cheesecake : dark choco bailey (idr 35,000)
Lanjut ke booth lain, saya membeli cheesecake dari jennabel ( karena memang udah ngidam pingin beli, dan ternyata nih cheesecake buka booth disisni :3). Akhirnya habis lihat lihat di display kulkas nya, aku pilih yang Dark Choco Bailey

Look! untuk kemasannya simple tapi menarik hati  n...isinya penuh lohhh ^^ , rasanya juga enak, perpaduan keju n chocolate juga ada aroma alkohol kaya rum ato bailey gtu (yaiyalah kan pake Bailey :'))

4. Ice cream di pot (lupa namanya) (idr 28,000)
Habis beli si cheesecake my mom bilang itu apaan yang di pot gtu, trus pas aku liat ternyata es krim, and i asked my mom, and ternyata nyokap mau , yaudah deh beli ( gw juga penasaran sih) hehe.

(dikasih daun atasnya ) And...TADAAAA, es krimnya . Toping atasnya pakai biskuit marie regal, tadinya pingin oreo, tapi karena bosan oreo terus, akhirnya pilih yang regal, and untuk es krimnya pakai rasa blueberry (daunnya gak dimakan yah :v)
Untuk rasa......enak, blueberry nya nyampur sama susu rasanya , so...creamy gtu. Biskuitnya terasa kurang, karena gak diolah lagi, jado terkesan kurang masuk sama eskrimnya.
Untuk pelayanan....lama banget bowwww , secara saya pernah jaga satnd es krim (es krim potong , yang motongnya pake tenaga kuda ), ini harusnya bisa lebih cepat pelayannannya, secara ini es krimnya gak keras dan tinggal ditaruh di potnya n ditabur biskuitnya, but.....saya kira yang pesen banyak banget makanya lama, ternyata enggak..... kalo boleh bilang (bukannya sombong) waktu saya jaga satnd es krim potong, saya bisa ngelayanin lebih cepat dari ini, ditambah sambil jadi kasir n juga sales (3 in 1)

5. Kelapas (idr 25,000)
Berlanjut ke es krim yang lainnya. Kalau yang ini, bukan saya yang beli, but my sister yang beli.

Look! isinya macam macam yah :3 ( enatah boleh pilih sendiri atau bagaimana, cause cici saya yang beli)

isinya terdiri dari sprinkle, es krim rasa cocopandan, daging kelapa yang masih menempel di batoknya, leci, mochi,dan kacang.

Rasanya..menurut saya enak , tapi agak kemanisan karena sprinklenya, harusnya topingnya jangan pilih yang ini yah, haha, n kata cici saya mochinya enyak banget (sayang saya gak disisain ;'(  )

6. Churros with chocolate dip (idr 30,000)

Puas makan es krim, sekarang beli yang hangat hangat yaitu....Churros (cici saya yang beli sih, hehe)

Ukuran n kuantiti nya lumayan yah, cukup buat makan rame rame, but...buat rasa, saya kurang suka....terlalu manis, karena gula halusnya terlalu banyak (n manisnya bikin....ah sudahlah), rasa cinnamonnya gak berasa , jadi lebih suka churros merk lain( yang pertama kali saya coba, that's enak banget)

and...........segitu ajah sih yah ceritanya, overall, saya lebih suka picnic over tribeca yang November kemarin, karena....di meja tempat kita makan ada payungnya, sedangkan yang ini gak ada payung sama sekali -_- ) penampilan djnya juga, lebih seru waktu tahun lalu, yah tapi gapapa lah yah yang penting udah rasain :)

REVIEW : Tokyo Banana (Caramel Custard Cream )

Hai semuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hari ini saya mau bagi bagi review soal Tokyo Banana nih ( habis dapat oleh oleh dari atasan :3)

Sebelumnya , Tokyo Banana itu apa sih?
Tokyo Banana itu kue berbentuk pisang yang terkenal dari Jepang (selain kue ada juga productnya yang lain sebenarnya , cuma yah yg paling terkenal yang kue bentuk pisang ini )

*Kata atasan saya yang orang OSAKA , sebenarnya di Osaka juga ada kue sejenis yang namanya Osaka Banana, cuma yang terkenal Tokyo Banana  (hehe :D)

Nah! ini dia penampakan Tokyo Banana nya

Kalau lihat di websitenya http://www.tokyobanana.jp/products/banana_p.html untuk yang isi 8 pcs seperti yang saya dapat harganya 1,080 JPY (silakan kalkulasikan dengan rupiah, kira kira sekitar 100 ribuan lebih

Dan ini penampakan dalamnya ( imut imut yah , jadi gak tega dimakan :'3 )

Penampilan dari Tokyo Banana yang satu ini lebih eyecatchy dibandingkan dengan yang original (menurut saya loh) , karena motifnya yang seperti jerapah ini,jadi membuat saya tidak tega membuka bungkusnya :'3

dan, akhirnya saya cobalah TokBan ini di kantor ( fotonya agak gelap)

Bisa dilihat kan krim pisang rasa caramelnya yang berbalut sponge cake super lembut :3 ( enakkkkkk)

Okay soal rasanya, rasanya tidak jauh beda dengan yang original, hanya saja yang ini tidak terlalu berasa pisang, tapi lebih ke arah manis tapi juga caramelnya tidak terlalu terasa. Meskipun begitu tetapenak sih, yah cuma sebagai penyuka caramel agak kecewa sama rasa caramelnya :')
But........... ini tetap bikin nagih ^^ (meskipun saya penyuka cake/boluyang bertekstur padat dan lebih kasar )

The progress of My Astharoshe Asran Costume

Hey Hooooooooooooooo

Owwww, so long long time i'm not update this blog -_- (because i'm working in office now )

So that, i want to write about how I made my Astharoshe Asran costume


Here We Go.......................................!!!!

First, before i tell you the process of the costume, i want to tell a little about Ms.Astahroshe Asran

Astharoshe Asran is a female character in Trinity Blood. She is a vampire (called "Methuselah" in this story) that has a loyalty and trust to the Mother of Empire or Augusta Vradica (Seth Nightroad). Her alias is "Dichess of Kiev " or "Viscountess of Odessa". In the novel said (i never read the novel -_- because there is not sell in Indonesia -_-) she has a cat as a pet, but in manga she has a tiger as a pet called "Venus".

Her appearance is a tall woman, elegant, has a long silvered white hair with a little red hair on the bangs, has a yellow eyes, (i think) a little manly ^^, kind , loyal, and also hot blooded (especially in manga version, you can see how grumpy she is, hehe, poor Abel ^^) .  She has a spear as a weapon called "Sword of Gae Bolg" (i know the name of her weapon in  WIKIPEDIA ) that can shoot a lightning in anime or plasma in novel.

THE MANGA VERSION

arghhhhhhhhhhhhh, LOOK! at her costume, the colour is blue ( and i am really like blue :3) , with her big elegant hat , and also the really detailed armor , owwww, you steal my heart Astha-sannnn >_<

actually Astharoshe is my first favourite character when i first look Trinity Blood, hehe ( at that time i don't know her name hehe, but she is really cool i think ^^)

Okay......now......... i will tell astory behind the costume of Astharoshe Asran
saaaaa...IKOOOOOOOO

First is hunting the material. I searching about fabric material in Pasar Baru with my mom. I'm looking for material that has elegant look but not too soft, so the sales on the shop suggested me to use Tafetta Bridal. When i see the fabric, i think..wew..it's suitable with the costume, but.....there is some problem....they didn't have a colour like i show to them...Oww comm'onnn, i'm really like this one and you didn't have the colour...-_- but...........when the sales search again, she found..............the right colour, hehe ^^ and my mother bid the price of the fabric because we take 2 metres, hehe.

and, for the white fabric i use satin , and i don't take a picture of the fabric hehe.
For the armour , i use creative foam/polyfoam that we call it "Busa Hati". Every cosplayer in Indonesia (maybe) know about it.
For the detail i use many things like artificial jewel, ribbon, hot glue, buttons, beads, etc.

I made the base costume (the mini dress of Astha at Tailor, becausei can sewing with Machine -_- and also can't make a pattern for cloth).
For the wig i bought it in Online Sop, but i won't tell where, because i don't know why , why my wig is really.....not good like the others get who also order in that olshop ( because i ever help my friend's wig that she bought in that olshop, and i'm really like it, but.....why mine is really not good??)

okay, forget it -_- ....
my mom help me to cut and styling the wig , and also repair it -_- and i use acrylic pait to colour the hair .

okay......now....forget the wig-_-

for the shoes , i order it at  Loliglam (Online shop )

I'm really forget...why i din't make the heels become 10 cm  -_-  i'm just order it for 7 cm
but... i'm satisfied with the result ^^

and....for the weapon, because i can't get a detail picture of the weapon, so i made it by look some cosplayer who also cosplay as Astharoshe Asran.

and.......after  struggling with my costume and also repairing some detail (after Ennichisai 2014)

Honestly, i'm not really satisfied with the result, because my skill is not high so i can't made it so detailed like the others -_- 

I have a plan to repair and upgrade my costume .....GANBATTE! for me, hehehehe
